Going to the Skate Park? Bring your helmet

To enhance the safety of all patrons using the James City County Skate Park, helmets will be required beginning April 2. Anyone using the Skate Park will be required to wear a helmet during their entire stay inside the park.

The Skate Park is adjacent to the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, 5301 Longhill Rd. Operating hours are seasonal. Through June 15, the spring hours are Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Extended summer hours begin June 16.

Access to the park requires a pass, which is free for James City County and Williamsburg residents and is available at the Community Center. Non-residents can either purchase a day pass for $5 or a seasonal pass for $35.

For a complete list of Skate Park hours, fees and policies, please visit the County’s website at jamescitycountyva.gov/recreation/parks/skate-park.html.
