Chemical collection and recycling event moves to Warhill High School

 

The Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA) Household Chemical Collection and Computer and Electronics Recycling Event is on the move in James City County. Beginning with the Oct. 12 collection, all future collections will be held at the new location at Warhill High School, 4615 Opportunity Way, just off Centerville Road behind Thomas Nelson Community College from 8 a.m.-noon.

 

VPPSA holds 16 Household Chemical Collection and Computer and Electronics Recycling events per year. A variety of paints, fuels, solvents, pesticides, automotive products and other chemicals are accepted from residents of James City County, Williamsburg, York County, Hampton and Poquoson.
