County Police update information to help identify body


James City County Police continue to ask for help with the identity of a body found July 14 in Black Stump Creek off the Chickahominy River adjacent to the 2300 block of Bush Neck Road. Updated information indicates that the subject is believed to be approximately 5’ 4” tall, white male, and aged between late teens and late thirties with dark brown or black hair.  There are no identifying marks or items on the body. Police believe that the subject had been in the water for 3 to 4 days.  


If anyone has information on a missing boater or missing person fitting this description, please contact the James City County Police Department at 757-566-0112.
