James City County Police announce Officer of the Year
On May 16, Master Officer Sterling Perry was named James City County Police “Officer of the Year.” The announcement was made at the Department’s Annual Award’s ceremony held at the Law Enforcement Center. The award was presented to Officer Perry by John McGlennon, Chairman of the James City County Board of Supervisors and Emmett Harmon, Chief of Police.
Officer Perry was selected for performing his duties in a manner, which demonstrated continued exemplary performance to the department and our community. He is a 12-year veteran of the department and currently serves on the Traffic Unit. He also serves on the SWAT Team and Motorcycle Unit.
