Storm damage reported in James City County

 

At approximately 3:20 p.m., a severe thunderstorm passed through James City County causing significant wind damage resulting in fallen trees and damage to homes in the western section of the County. The storm appears to have affected areas of Centerville Road and Chickahominy Road with reports of several homes experiencing damage. In addition, damage to homes and vehicles has been reported in the Kristiansand neighborhood. 

 

Local officials are currently assessing damage. There are no reported injuries from the storm. County residents are encouraged to monitor local media for further updates or additional weather information.
