Dallman promoted to Police Major

Police Chief Brad Rinehimer has announced that Lieutenant Tony Dallman has been promoted to the rank of Major and will assume the position of Community and Administrative Services Division Commander effective April 16, 2014.

Lieutenant Anthony "Tony" Dallman has served with the James City County Police Department for over 19 years. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2001. Dallman has experience in Uniform Patrol, Community Services, Crisis Negotiations, Internal Affairs and policy review and development.  Dallman is a graduate of the Professional Executive Leadership School and is scheduled to attend the FBI National Academy in July. He received his Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University in 2013.

"Tony has been a very positive role model and representative of the James City County Police Department for many years.  His knowledge, education, experience and training make him a great choice to fill this command level position," says Rinehimer about Dallman’s promotion.
