Fox's Ordinary ribboncutting and grand opening

From L to R: Powhatan Supervisor, Michael Hipple, Kirk Whitney, Cassie Whitney, Kyle and Miranda Whitney

James City County is pleased to announce that Fox’s Ordinary Restaurant celebrated its ribbon cutting on Monday, Feb. 10. Located at 7816 Richmond Rd. in Toano, Fox’s Ordinary is open Monday-Friday from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The restaurant offers lunch fare including burgers, sandwiches, soup and salad.

Fox’s Ordinary is the first restaurant venture for owners Cassie and Thomas Whitney, although Ms. Whitney has been in the catering business for more than 20 years. Her company, Williamsburg Concession & Catering Co., began selling concessions nine years ago and evolved into a catering venture within two years. Williamsburg Concession & Catering Co. will continue, but will now be based out of the restaurant.
