Posh Salon Williamsburg celebrates new ownership with ribbon cutting
James City County is pleased to announce that Posh Salon Williamsburg celebrated its ribbon cutting and new ownership at its location at 4680 Monticello Ave., Suite 18C on Saturday, August 2. Posh Salon is an Aveda salon and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Posh Salon Williamsburg accepts appointments and walk-ins.
Posh Salon Williamsburg is now owned by Nadia Duncan. Duncan and her family moved to Williamsburg a year ago. Duncan is a graduate of the Aveda Institute of Ohio and is a former educator at the Aveda Institute of Denver. Duncan has 14 years of experience. Posh Salon Williamsburg was formerly owned by Frieda Charron.
Duncan has already transformed the salon to complement her style. Complete with a new interior aesthetic and modern look, as well as a new sleek logo, Posh Salon carries the all-natural Aveda products. “I am really excited for the opportunity to have my own salon here in Williamsburg. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of professionals to be by my side as we serve the local community. We have the best clientele and I hope to continue to grow and further serve them every day,” said Duncan when asked about her thoughts about owning her own business.
“Congratulations to Nadia and her team on the grand re-opening of Posh Salon; the location has been an asset to JCC and I am excited to see it continuing under Nadia’s leadership,” commented Kevin Onizuk, Jamestown Supervisor.
