Break out of the winter blahs! Join us for a night of family entertainment-enjoy structured games in the gym, create various craft projects together, splash in the pool, play racquetball, enjoy an old-fashioned board game, and much more! Summer Camps and Before & After School...Register Now!
Your REC Connect 2014-15 Annual Application form for Summer Camp 2014 and Before and After School 2014-15 is available online or in person at the James City County Recreation, Abram Frink Jr. Community Center (formerly James River), Freedom Park Interpretive Center or the Satellite Services Office in Toano. Archery 101 (ages 9-13)

Women’s Mountain Bike Ride (all ages and abilities), Free!

Ladies, join the Eastern Virginia Mountain Bike Association’s (EVMA) Dirt Divas on a woman’s-only mountain bike ride! Explore Freedom Park’s trail system, meet fellow female riders in the community and learn the ins-and-outs of mountain biking. The rides include novice (with some instruction) and intermediate/advanced group levels. Bike and helmet required. Water bottles and/or hydration packs encouraged. The Have Butterflies, Make Butterflies, Free

Red Cross Babysitting Course (ages 12+)

Watercolor Painting (ages 16+)

One on One will provide weekly healthy sports activities for home-schooled students. We’ll provide a structured environment for boys and girls to develop and enhance athletic skills through games such as basketball, running, fitness games, indoor flag football and other athletic sports activities. One on One basketball will provide weekly healthy sports activities for home-schooled students. We’ll provide middle and high school boys and girls appropriate programs that develop and enhance athletic skills through basketball drills as well as other plyometric training and fitness.
