Smallcakes: A Cupcakery celebrates ribbon cutting and grand opening
James City County is pleased to announce that Smallcakes: A Cupcakery celebrated a ribbon cutting and official grand opening at its new location at 4640 Casey Blvd., Suite 120 on Saturday, July 26. Smallcakes cupcakes are made fresh daily and feature 12 signature flavors with daily rotating specialty flavors including seasonal varieties. Smallcakes is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Smallcakes was founded by Jeff Martin in 2009 in Overland Park, Kansas. Martin and Smallcakes have been featured on Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” and “The View.” The Williamsburg franchise of Smallcakes is owned and operated by Patrick and Leah Polowichak.
Smallcakes also offers custom cakes and branded merchandise. Smallcakes believes in its slogan, “Maybe a cupcake will help?” and its mission, “To use creative flavors, quality ingredients, and friendly service to provide the finest cupcake experience worthy of returning and recommending.” Smallcakes has more than 75 locations nationwide.
