Bicycle Helmet Safety

Bicycle Helmet Safety is important for riders of all ages.  Virginia law requires that every person 14 years of age or younger wear a protective helmet when riding a bicycle.  In order to help prevent serious head injuries, riders must wear a properly fitted helmet.  Police officers are available to demonstrate the proper use and fit of bicycle helmets to anyone interested.

Please contact Master Officer Alan McDowell at 757-603-6026 for more information
