Rec Connect Information

 

 

REC Connect is a summer camp and before- and after-school program for school age children offered by James City County’s Department of Parks and Recreation.  For more information, click on the Parent Handbook.  To register your child for a REC Connect program, click on the blue registration button. Before- and After-School Program (2013-2014)


Ages: Elementary school: grades K-5
Middle School: grades 6-8


Location:
Before- and After-School Programs are offered at all elementary schools.  The Middle School After-School Program is offered at Berkeley. Toano and Lois B. Hornsby students are transported to Berkeley.
 

Dates: September 2013 (school start) - June 2014 (school end)
 
Hours of Operation:
(subject to change)

Elementary Before-School Program: 7 a.m. - school start
Middle and Elementary After-School Programs: school dismissal until 6 p.m.  Programs are offered on both half days and full teacher workdays.

Summer Camps (2014)


Ages: 5-14 (must have completed kindergarten)
Location: Elementary School: Clara Byrd Baker, DJ Montague, J.B. Blayton, Norge & Stonehouse, Middle School: Hornsby



Dates: Monday, June 16, 2014 – Friday, August 22, 2014


Hours of Operation:  Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

 

Before- and After-School Program (2014-2015)

Ages: Elementary school: grades K-5
Middle School: grades 6-8

Location:
Before- and After-School Programs are offered at all elementary schools.  The Middle School After-School Program is offered at Berkeley. Toano and Lois B. Hornsby students are transported to Berkeley.
