Come enjoy this 140-acre park located on the Chickahominy River. This park has something for every member of your family to enjoy. Facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, boat ramp, fishing pier, camp sites, a playground, picnic shelters, a small store and access to the Virginia Capital Trail. You can bring your own boat or rent one at the park to enjoy fishing or exploring the Chickahominy River and Gordon Creek. There is space for monthly rental of boat and RV storage. The large fields and picnic shelters are available for special events.

Camping at Chickahominy Riverfront Park
Chickahominy Riverfront Park features 161 campsites located on a bluff, above water. Several camp sites have scenic views of the waterfront and ten basic tent sites have water access. Check-in time is 1 p.m. or later, check-out time is before 11 a.m. You may reserve a campsite up to 60
days in advance. Camping reservations are made by calling the park office at 757-258-5020.
You must reside in James City County or Williamsburg to qualify for the resident rate.

Boat Rental at Chickahominy Riverfront Park
Canoes, kayaks and jon boats are available for rent at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. There is a two-hour minimum for all boat rentals, and rentals must be returned at least 90 minutes before the store closes. To rent a boat, you will need to visit the park store for a rental agreement, complete the agreement and pay the rental fee. Our staff will set up your boat which includes all necessary equipment, such as life jackets, oars, and paddles.
