About Recreation Services
Recreation Services offers hundreds of fun and interactive classes, camps and events. The REC Connect program offers year-round safe, affordable and fun before and after school and summer camps for ages 5-14. Participate in a variety of special events, art, swimming, sports, aerobic fitness, dance, science, cooking, outdoor adventure and education programs for all ages. We welcome all ages and abilities. Accommodations for citizens with disabilities are available through Inclusion Services.
Community Partnerships
We work in partnership with a variety of groups and organizations to provide recreational and community services to James City County and area residents. These groups maintain year-round or long-term contracts with the County.
