The information included in the Online Expenditure Register is extracted from the County’s financial system and only includes James City County’s payments. Certain payments have been excluded due to state and federal laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and exclusions identified through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The County has excluded other payments that could potentially risk the disclosure of confidential or private information to protect the interest of our citizens, business community and employees.
