Capital Projects
When a large capital expenditure is needed for the construction or renovation of the County's infrastructure, General Services is responsible for managing the project to ensure compliance with design, construction, fiscal and scheduling commitments.
Facilities Management
Facilities Management provides a comprehensive program of maintenance and repair for all County and selected joint use buildings and structures.
Fleet & Equipment
The Fleet & Equipment division provides a comprehensive program of maintenance and repair for all County vehicles and equipment. We also maintain and oversee the operation of 5 refueling sites.
Grounds Maintenance
The Grounds Maintenance division provides a comprehensive program of maintenance of the grounds at all County owned parks, facilities and along public roads.
Solid Waste & Recycling
The County operates 3 convenience centers where residents may drop off trash for disposal or recycling.
Stormwater
The Stormwater Division assists citizens with questions or concerns regarding the management of storm runoff and the repair or maintenance of drainage structures including privately-owned stormwater management facilities. We also offer grants, rebates and volunteer opportunities for citizens and neighborhoods who undertake environmental stewardship activities.
