General Services is responsible for building, maintaining and operating County facilities, grounds and programs in a manner that is efficient, environmentally sound and responsive to the needs of our internal and community-based customers.

When a large capital expenditure is needed for the construction or renovation of the County's infrastructure, General Services is responsible for managing the project to ensure compliance with design, construction, fiscal and scheduling commitments.

The Fleet & Equipment division provides a comprehensive program of maintenance and repair for all County vehicles and equipment. We also maintain and oversee the operation of 5 refueling sites.

The County operates 3 convenience centers where residents may drop off trash for disposal or recycling.

The Stormwater Division assists citizens with questions or concerns regarding the management of storm runoff and the repair or maintenance of drainage structures including privately-owned stormwater management facilities. We also offer grants, rebates and volunteer opportunities for citizens and neighborhoods who undertake environmental stewardship activities.
