As part of the Williamsburg Harvest Celebration, James City County will host Bountiful Brews & Bites (BB&B) on Nov. 14 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Rd. The event is a family-friendly, affordable outdoor festival with live music, food trucks, children’s activities and fireworks.
Food will be provided by Eat the Streets 757, the premier gourmet food truck network of Hampton Roads. Eat the Streets 757 will bring six food trucks including Sofrito, Malbon’s Flying Pig, Lucky Peach, Bro’s Fish Tacos, STUFT and Twisted Sister Cupcakes. Which Wich will also be on hand with Project PB&J and for every peanut butter and jelly sandwich sold, they donate a sandwich locally and globally.
Beer and cider from AleWerks, Bold Rock, Devils Backbone, Goose Island, Southern Tier and Anheuser-Busch will be available.
The band E3 will perform from 6-9:30 p.m. E3 is comprised of three members of the group Everything, which had the hit song, “Hooch.” E3 will perform a mix of songs and the band is known for their mash-ups of popular songs. The evening will be capped off by a fireworks show over the James River at 9:30 p.m.
Children’s activities will be available courtesy of Wine & Design and Art Buzz Kids. Historic Jamestowne will also be in attendance.
Tickets are available for $25 at williamsburgharvestcelebration.com/bountiful-brews-bites. Tickets include a bite and a brew for those over 21 (ID required.) Attendees under 21 can choose two bites or a bite and a bottle of water. Long-sleeved t-shirts will be sold during the event. In case of rain, BB&B will have a large tent available.
A portion of BB&B ticket sales will go to FISH, Meals on Wheels, Fresh Food Fund and the Southern Foodways Alliance. All proceeds from beverage sales at this event will go to the United Way of Greater Williamsburg to support their annual campaign.
The Williamsburg Harvest Celebration runs Nov. 11-15. In addition to BB&B, there are six other WHC events in James City County including two events at the Williamsburg Winery, a wine dinner at La Tienda, a tapas crawl in New Town, a four-course dinner at Busch Gardens and the annual Chowder Fest.
