[ARCHIVED] Posh Salon of Williamsburg Moves to Larger Space and Adds Employees

James City County is pleased to announce that Posh Salon of Williamsburg (Posh Salon) held a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Oct. 12 for their new larger location in the Monticello Marketplace. The new location is 3,000 square feet, which is double the size of the old salon space. Additionally, Posh Salon has added seven employees since June in preparation for the new location. Posh Salon is an exclusive Aveda Lifestyle Salon and accepts appointments and walk-ins.

Posh Salon offers advanced ability in the latest trends in haircutting, coloring and all facets of highlighting and lowlighting as well as multi-dimensional hair coloring. At their new location, Posh Salon will expand their services to include Aveda facials and Aveda’s signature color service, eclipting color. Additionally, Posh Salon works with wedding parties and completes special occasion styles, wig styling and facial and body waxing. Men, women and children are all welcome.

“I am beyond thrilled and feel so blessed with the success of Posh Salon over the past three years. It has always been a dream of mine to own an Aveda Lifestyle Salon. With the move to the new location that dream has become a reality,” said Nadia Duncan, owner of Posh Salon. “I could not be more proud of our Posh family, as we have worked very hard to make this new, bigger space, a reality. I thank all of our amazingly loyal clients for their support and we are excited to share this celebration with them.”

Posh Salon has been owned by Nadia Duncan since 2014. Duncan is a graduate of the Aveda Institute of Ohio and is a former educator at the Aveda Institute of Denver. Duncan has 17 years of experience.
