James City County has assumed daily operation of Little Creek Reservoir Park. The Park has always been maintained as a County facility; however day-to-day operations were handled by the private company HeadHunters Headquarters over the last five years. When their agreement ended this year, they chose not to renew and no other operation proposals were received during a bid solicitation process.
During the transition period, the park will open Monday-Friday at 7 a.m. and weekends at 6 a.m. and will close daily at sunset. The park store is currently closed for inventory and rental items such as boats are currently unavailable. Services will resume when the store reopens. For more information, please call 757-259-5360.
