Fido Fest, a new venture by Parks & Recreation, features family and dog-friendly activities, games, fabulous food ($) and more! The event is Saturday, March 17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Road. Admission is $5/car (cash or check only).
Onsite contests include a Fido Fashion Show (judging best overall, best couple,
funniest, most creative), Best Trick and a Dog Photo Contest. To participate in the photo contest, please send a high
quality photo of your dog to parks.rec@jamescitycountyva.gov by March 14. Be sure to include the name of
your pet in the email. Patrons vote onsite and winners will be announced at the
event. Merchandise ($) and community vendors will also be present. Pets and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Co-sponsored by the Heritage Humane Society. Weather
