[ARCHIVED] Paws Pet Resort celebrates grand opening and ribbon cutting


James City County (JCC) is pleased to announce that Paws Pet Resort celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting on May 6. Located at 5423 Airport Rd., Paws Pet Resort is a pet boarding service and dog daycare center that refers to dog clientele as “campers.” Paws Pet Resort is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Paws Pet Resort’s lobby is closed from noon to 2 p.m. daily.

Paws Pet Resort has a 4,000 square foot facility for boarding and inside daycare and also has a 3,800 square foot outside play area. Paws Pet Resort accepts dogs for both daycare and boarding, which includes “stay and play.” Paws Pet Resort is owned and operated by Karen Joyner, a local resident of JCC.
