[ARCHIVED] Police Invite You and Your Kids to Ice Cream with a Cop

Ice Cream with a Cop

In an effort to reach kids and adults alike, James City County Police Department offers Ice Cream with a Cop, a spin-off of Coffee with a Cop, but for kids. Ice Cream with a Cop aims to bridge relationships between local police officers and kids in a fun and informal environment designed to build trust and friendships. Each child will receive a free ice cream cone or cup!

There are multiple opportunities to participate this summer:

  • June 25, noon-2 p.m. at Cold Stone Creamery, 4615 Monticello Avenue
  • July 13, noon-2 p.m. at Bruster’s Ice Cream, 5289 John Tyler Highway
  • Aug. 24, noon-2 p.m. at Bruster’s Ice Cream, 5289 John Tyler Highway

We hope to see you there!

If you are interested in hosting an Ice Cream with a Cop event in your neighborhood or at your business, please contact Sgt. John LeClaire at 757-259-5174.
