James City County’s Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing is an annual event to welcome fall and the sights, sounds and activities of the new season. Join us on Saturday, Sept. 15, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront Park for this family event. Arts and crafts, food ($), face painting, carnival games, inflatables, balloon animals and more! Featured activities include ZooPro Adventures with a live animal show (2:15-3:15 p.m.), Knockerball Hampton Roads with “Toxic Meltdown,” Roaming Characters (12:30-1:30 p.m. & 2-3 p.m.), the band People Collection (noon- 2 p.m.) plus Scarecrow Stuffing! Come make the biggest and the best scarecrow in your neighborhood! First come, first served while supplies last. Don’t forget your camera! Admission is $5/car (cash or check only) and $20/scarecrow (includes all supplies). The park is located at 1350 John Tyler Highway.
