[ARCHIVED] County Debuts New Tourism Commercial

James City County is pleased to announce it has debuted a new tourism commercial, “Back to James City County.” The commercial shows that there are activities for the whole family in the County.

The commercial will air on the Golf Channel during the Pure Silk Championship event coverage from May 23-26. The commercial was written and produced by County staff and shot over the course of several weeks in April. The commercial is part of the County’s sponsorship of the Pure Silk Championship.

The commercial features numerous attractions in the County including:

  • Busch Gardens Williamsburg,
  • Fox Wire Farm Alpacas,
  • Go-Karts Plus,
  • Historic Jamestowne,
  • Kingsmill Resort and
  • Williamsburg Premium Outlets.

A special thanks to Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools for their assistance in providing a classroom for the video shoot during afterschool hours.
