James City County is pleased to announce that Kidz N Art has opened at 4345 New Town Avenue, Suite 107B. Kidz N Art is a dynamic children’s art studio owned by Shaunda Armstrong. Kidz N Art will provide a space for children to create and innovate with open studio time, planned sessions and special events.

Kidz N Art will not just focus on art, but also offer writing-focused sessions, the slime lab with Professor Slime who incorporates science facts with slime making and business skill building sessions.

Kidz N Art will also offer camps and birthday parties. In the fall, they will offer, “Young Business Visionaries,” an entrepreneurship camp for children.

“I am so excited to open a resource for children to creatively express themselves with no boundaries. Our studio was created to encourage children to think outside the box and use their imaginations to innovate art, business and literature. Our open studio sessions allow children to navigate their creativity in their own way and outside of the traditional classroom style setting. Open studio is their time to innovate,” said Armstrong.
