On March 5 at 3:28 p.m., units from the James City County Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire reported by a neighbor in the 5000 block of Nicholas Court in the Chisel Run subdivision. Crews located one person inside the residence in cardiac arrest who is being transported to the hospital. The fire was brought under control at 3:55 p.m. The James City County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating. Crews from the James City-Bruton Volunteer, City of Williamsburg and York County fire departments assisted.
