James City County offices, facilities, services, libraries and courts will observe the following schedule for Memorial Day, May 31.
County offices:

James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink Jr. Community Center:
Closed, May 31
All County Parks are open, however, some parks have stores/offices which are closed for the holiday:
-- Open May 31: Chickahominy Riverfront Park Office/Store and the James City County Marina Office/Store.
-- Closed May 31: Freedom Park Store/Office and Little Creek Reservoir Store/Office. These Office/Stores are open Saturdays and Sundays only.
Convenience Centers:
Closed Monday, May 31
Garbage Transfer Station:
Closed Monday, May 31
Curbside Recycling:
One day delay. Monday’s recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s on Wednesday, Wednesday’s on Thursday, Thursday’s on Friday and Friday’s on Saturday.
Libraries:
Closed May 30-31
Courts:
Closed Monday, May 31
