[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Incidents of Theft from Unlocked Vehicles

The Pointe At Jamestown Theft Suspects

During the overnight hours of Oct. 11-Oct. 12, multiple unlocked vehicles in the The Pointe of Jamestown neighborhood were entered by unknown subject(s). Several items were stolen to include sports equipment, electronics and a wallet containing cash, credit cards, an ID and social security card. Two suspicious males wearing all black with hoods and masks were see walking in the neighborhood at approximately 5 a.m. on the morning of Oct. 12.


Credit cards stolen during these incidents were used in Hampton between 6-6:30 a.m. on Oct. 12. The photos below are surveillance photos of the individuals using the stolen credit cards.

If you are able to identify these individuals, saw anything suspicious in the neighborhood during this time, know who may have been involved or have home security video camera systems, including doorbell cameras, that may have captured suspicious person(s) or vehicle(s) during this time, please contact Investigator Swanson at 757-259-5165 or Tipsters may also call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit tips online at Callers to the Crime Line and P3 Tips users may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
