[ARCHIVED] Crews Respond to a Fire in the White Oaks Subdivision

Huntington Drive

On January 18 at 8:22 p.m., Emergency Communications received a call about a fire on Huntington Drive in the White Oaks subdivision. Units from the James City County Fire Department responded and arrived on scene at 8:25 p.m. to find a two-story home with fire on the second floor with extension into the attic. The homeowners discovered the fire and safely evacuated with no injuries. The fire was brought under control at 8:45 p.m. and the home sustained significant fire and smoke damage.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Williamsburg Fire Department assisted.
