[ARCHIVED] County Offices, Facilities to Open at 10 a.m., Jan. 21 Due to Inclement Weather

James City County Closures & Cancellations

Due to inclement weather, James City County offices, the James City County Recreation Center, all County parks, the Transfer Station and Convenience Centers will open at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21. The Abram Frink Jr. Community Center will open at 4 p.m. 

Due to the closure of Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools, Parks & Recreation’s REC Connect Before & After School Program is closed on Friday, Jan. 21. For program operation updates, please call the REC Connect Information/Inclement Weather Hotline at 757-259-3170.

County emergency officials urge residents to monitor local media for the latest updates. County closings and weather-related information will be posted on the County’s website, Facebook and Twitter.
