There’s a new volunteer opportunity available in James City County Parks & Recreation! Park Attendants are needed – maybe you’re on the fence about applying for a position or unsure about the skills needed for a career in Parks & Recreation. Come volunteer to be a “Park Attendant for a Day” and take advantage of our training to learn the ropes and discover the behind-the-scenes action of how County parks, trails, the sports complex and facilities operate. Opportunities are available year-round at a variety of parks with a myriad of duties and functions such supporting park programming, assisting with park beautification projects, working sports tournaments and assisting with trail maintenance. Volunteers should be age 18+; your work site and duties are based on your preferences and availability.
